Citizens Advice Bath and North East Somerset is a charity providing advice services to the residents of the BANES area from 4 locations across the Unitary Authority – two locations in Bath, one in Keynsham and one in Midsomer Norton. Our skilled team of over 100 volunteers, supported by our team of 15 staff across the four offices deliver telephone and face to face advice to over 8000 BANES residents a year, assisting with housing, debt, family, employment, benefits and consumer issues. The service is currently celebrating an 80 year anniversary. We also work closely in partnership with a number of other charitable organisations across the region, including Macmillan and Bath Mind and also work in partnership with BANES council.

We are seeking an individual in a brand new role to assist in shaping, planning and delivering a new Marketing and Communications strategy for the charity, combined with a new Fundraising and Business Development strategic plan. This is to assist in delivering a brand new strategic direction for the charity and to take the organisation into a completely new direction in order to sustain the charity and to eventually assist in growing the organisation into the future. This is a critical role in helping to deliver the future of the charity.

We are seeking a driven, passionate, expert marketeer and business development / fundraising expert in order to assist in the delivery of the new strategy. Working directly alongside the CEO and a Marketing Assistant you will help secure the charities immediate future with effective marketing and communications activities – sending out the right messages at the right time to the right people – to then maximise the potential partnerships and income from these channels to sustain and grow the charity for the next 80 years.
