Our Adviceline service will be closed on Thursday 14th May, for an organisational development day.
Before using our service, please refer to the Citizens Advice website, which has information on a wide range of issues.
If you need further advice, check when our drop-in offices in Bath, Keynsham or Midsomer Norton are open.
Our drop-in advisers will assess your issue and decide if you need specialist advice, a different agency, or assisted self-help.
You can also have a phone gateway assessment by calling Adviceline for free on 0808 278 7897.
Phone advisers are available from 9:30am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.
What to expect at one of our drop-in sessions
All our drop-in sessions are open between 9:30am-2:00pm. You can attend any one of the drop-ins without an appointment on a first come, first served basis. The number of tickets given out is dependent on how many advisers are available. The supervisor running the drop-in, will decide when the maximum capacity for the session has been reached, and inform anyone who arrives after this.
Initial assessment
At the drop-in, you will have a short discussion with a Supervisor who will identify the most appropriate way for us to help you. They will give you the information you need to solve your problem yourself, send you through to speak to an on-site Advisor, make an internal appointment to discuss your problem further, or signpost you to a specialist who is better placed to help.
Please note: Our drop-ins are located in public buildings in the heart of the community. Due to the open nature of these spaces, when speaking to the Supervisor, sensitive information should be shared with discretion.
