We’re delighted to announce that Mind, the charity, and the Quartet Community Foundation have both generously provided support for our partnership with Bath Mind.

Kate Morton (Bath Mind) and Les Redwood (Citizens Advice - B&NES) are encouraged by this funding

Covid-19 has brought up many challenges, but two that are affecting many residents in the district are finances and mental health issues. These two issues often create each other and feed off each other, with people falling into worsening financial and mental health situations.

Every year more than 100,000 people attempt to take their own lives due to debt and that’s why this funding is so important in helping to keep our partnership going. The funding from Quartet and Mind will enable the charities to continue to provide a service that helps people with the combined issues of mental health, debt and benefits.

MPs Wera Hobhouse and Jacob Rees-Mogg have both called for support for our charity, Citizens Advice – Bath & North East Somerset. We’re very grateful to have received donations from both these organisation and from members of the general public that are going to be instrumental in helping residents get through the current crisis.
