Thank you to everyone who attended our AGM

We were delighted to have the West of England Combined Authority Mayor, Tim Bowles and the Worshipful Mayor of Bath, Councillor Gerry Curran in attendance.

Our AGM was an opportunity to thank our volunteers, partners, supporters, and supervisors for the tremendous contribution they all make to our goal of improving the lives of people in our community.

Tim Bowles addressing the crowd

Tim Bowles, delivered an inspiring speech about the importance of collaborations in delivering better outcomes to residents in our district, something that we are looking forward to achieving through the new 3SG project.

During the event, our CEO, Les Redwood, announced the commencement of a new project, featuring a collaboration between Wessex Water, Bath City Football Club, and our charity. The project aims to place a satellite advice service in Twerton to offer support to that community and residents of its neighbour, Whiteway.

Our Top 52 Annual Partners Club was also launch and presents an opportunity for organisations around Bath and North East Somerset to get involved with improving our community.

Our raffle was a great success and we’d like to say a huge “Thank you” to all the local organisations that donated prizes for it, including Colonna and Smalls, Bath Ales, Bath City Football Club, DottyInk, Mr B’s Book Emporium of Reading Delights and Framptons Bar and Restaurant.

We’d also like to say a massive “Thank you” to Revolution Bar for providing such fantastic catering and a brilliant venue.
